Holiday Handmade - made my spirits bright!!!

It was a looooooooooooong and frantic week for me.
Not only was I preparing for the biggest show of the year, but I came down with a HORRIBLE cold - Mister Christmas was sick with the same thing.
(Don't know how that happened. ;)

After several sleepless nights and hundreds of hot glue sticks...
I was ready for HOLIDAY HANDMADE.
The "BIG" show took place on Friday and Saturday.
It ROCKED, as usual.

Event organizers - Amber, Krista, and Jaime, (pictured above,) did a REMARKABLE job, this year!! (They always do!)

Our booths were buzzing NONSTOP with happy customers finding the perfect handmade gifts from over 60 vendors.  What a  STUPENDOUS weekend we had!  I'm so proud to say I was part of it!
This was my third year as a participating vendor - and I must say - it keeps getting better and better.

Here are a few shots of my booth...

...and as usual, Mister Christmas was right next door...

I don't know what we would have done without our fantastic helpers!

Thank you sooooooooooooo much, Mark, Jenna, and Kevin!!!!

AAAAAAAAAND...

We had a surprise visit from
This handmade show quickly became a dance party!

Sooooo much FREAKIN' BOOTIE SHAKIN' FUN!!!

What a weekend!
Thank you, Fancy Tiger!!!

Next up - the FIREFLY...
This will be your last chance to pick up some Fern and Sprout for the holidays, so BE THERE, people!

Time for snoozing.
After this week, I will be back to my regular blogging schedule
with LOTS of holiday inspiration for all of you!

Stay tuned for a peek at some goodies I will have at the Firefly!

I have lots of goodies to show you!

Winter Wonderland

HaPpY BiRtHdAy, MOMMEE!!!
Don't know what I would do without you.

Looking forward to celebrating my mom's birthday with some of my favorite people at one of my favorite Mexican restaurants, tonight.
The monkeys and I played "hookie" yesterday.
We took a "mental health" day.
Our day included cinnamon rolls,
snowballs,
and hot cocoa with marshmallows.
YUM!!

All of this snowy, fall weather is getting me in the mood for the holidays.
Speaking of that, here's a peek at my holiday show lineup:

Coming up in a few weeks...
I couldn't be more thrilled about the FIRST EVER
SuGaR PLuM BaZaAr.
Admission is FREE and there will be live music, food demos, and an amazing lineup of handmade and retail vendors.  I can't wait!

The first weekend in December...
Friday, December 2 from 5pm-10pm
Saturday, December 3 from 10am-4pm
Sherman Street Events Center - 1770 Sherman Street, Denver, CO.

This event is the creme de la creme, the big show, the SUPERBOWL of handmade events. :)
Here are some shots from last year...
The following photos courtesy of Fancy Tiger

I've been a vendor at HoLiDaY HaNdMaDe for the past 3 years, and I can always expect this show to be OFF THE HOOK.
Get there early because they are giving away SWAG BAGS to the first 50 people on each day. Yaaaaayeah!

The weekend after that...
...it's the FiReFLymarket!!!!!
This is THE show for everyone in Boulder.  If you are looking for some amazing handmade in that neck of the woods - this is where you will find it.
This will be my 4th Firefly show.  I love those FIREFLIES!

The wonderful thing about all of these shows is that I get to do them right next to my partner-in-crime:
MISTER CHRISTMAS!!!
We're going to have sooooooo much fun!

There will be other shows sprinkled in and I will let you know as soon as I have all the details.
I'm really looking forward to getting my
''FELT ON''
for the holidays!

Time to get to work and enjoy the view of this winter wonderland  through my window.

Lacking...

Posts have been a little LACKING lately.
Soooooooooo sorry.

I am working on some BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG changes at my studio.
I can't wait to share them with you.

And on an EXCITING note...
Fern and Sprout will a vendor at this year's
HOLIDAY HANDMADE.
It was really tough to get in this year because they had over
215 applicants,
and there are only 61 booth spots.
So thrilled to be taking part in Fancy Tiger's show this year!
Thank you, Fancy Tiger!!!

I am also in the middle of taking a blogging E-course called
Holly Becker of DECOR8 is teaching the class, along with some of her creative colleagues.
Look for some exciting new changes to the blog in the weeks to come!

I hope all of you are enjoying the season!
See you soon!!

Phew! I made it thru...

Firefly Handmade ended on Sunday at 3pm.
My last show of the season.
Some much needed rest is coming my way.

After selling out of most of my merchandise last weekend, at Holiday Handmade,
I never could have made it thru the week without my GIRLS!!!!
Natalie and Darci...
Thanks for roughing it by my spaceheater, in my freezing cold studio.
$21 at Taco Bell, and some really GOOD conversation helped me through the day.
Thank you for helping me get so much done!

And...the next day Darci and Slug helped me "bust" out some flower gardens.
More FANTASTIC conversation.
At that point, I was going on very LITTLE sleep.
Thank you sooooooooooooooooo much, ladies.

I also have to thank Scott -
What would I do without your love, support, and passion?
Fern and Sprout would not be thriving if I didn't have you.

Does this sound like an Oscar speech?
Sorry. :)
I'm so grateful.

Thank you, Firefly!!!!  What a weekend!
Boulder treated us WELL!
Thank you, Rachel, my sweet friend!  We rocked it on Friday night!
Both of my helpers were FABULOUS!!

Here's a few pieces that sold over the weekend...
We had such a blast!!!  I can't believe it's over.
Thank you to EVERYONE who helped with the event,
And thank you to Ali, Kristen, and Denise - for organizing such a SUPERFLY market!!!!
And, of course, thank you to all of the lovely shoppers!
You all look DELIGHTFUL in your new goodies!

And now...

...it's time to get ready for Christmas!!

Some holiday decor pics are coming soon!
