Snowbound.

It's a cozy, wintery, lazy morning here at our house.

Here's what it looks like outside...

And, here's what it looks like inside...

The monkeys are lounging...

The pups are staying cozy...

Rodrigo is curious, as usual.
He is mesmerized by the snow outside.
We are all staying warm and RELAXING.
I'm so glad all of my Christmas shopping is FINISHED!!
I just have a few presents left to MAKE. :)

Last night, we checked another holiday activity off of our winter break to-do list.

A GINGERBREAD HOUSE

I did the icing. (I'm pretty proud of those icicles!!!)
The monkeys applied the candies.
I think we did a SPLENDID job!
This could be our best gingerbread house EVER!

Wherever you are, I hope you are staying nice and toasty!

Winter Wonderland

Now that my holiday shows are over,
I have time to enjoy our living room, which is our own personal winter wonderland!

We took a little time last weekend, to transform our living space.
I suppose I get a little TOO into decorating for the season.
I just can't help it.

You may call me "Mrs. Christmas," if you like.  :)
We have a white Christmas tree, this year...(I've been wanting one for the last couple of years.)

...and a vintage Christmas village...

...and some vintage kissing angels...

...a collection of light-up snowmen...
...a collection of "scary" snowmen by one of my favorite artists, Cindy Haberman.

..."Mr. Sparkle," the deer...

...and some crafty trees made out of old sheet music and magazines by me and my friend, Slug.

Yep, it's quite a warm, cozy, sparkly world in here.
Thanks for stopping by!
Merry Christmas, everyone!

Hangin with my dudes

We are in our pajamas this morning.
It's a lazy morning...
However, we are in for some GHOULISH fun this afternoon at Grammee's Halloween Carnival.
More to share later!  Stay tuned!

Listening to the sounds...

of my neighborhood.
I'm working from home, today.  It's actually been quite peaceful to sit and drink my coffee,
and hear the sound of lawnmowers and birds in the background.
I also get the pleasure of hearing my dog whining every two seconds...

I've come to the conclusion that I have the most "SPAZTACULAR" dog in all the land.
He is truly "SPAZTASTIC" and yet, so ADORABLE.

I am working on pieces for the French Nest Market in Fort Collins, tomorrow.

I will have lots of new fall "flower gardens."
Stop by and see me!

Happy Friday, kids!  Enjoy your weekend!

Good morning from 5512!

We are enjoying our morning here at home. The monkeys are playing with their "moonsand." Napoleon is enjoying his chewie. Rodrigo is lounging in all of his fatness.

And I am enjoying my coffee in my beautiful new coffee cup made by Jessica Carey. I'm so excited to have her as a neighbor! She makes BEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUTIFUL pottery and I've been wanting to own one of her pieces since Holiday Handmade, last December. Check out her ETSY shop.

Updating my Etsy shop today! Look for it later, this afternoon! Have a fantastic day!

There's a monster in my living room.

Say hello to my new piece of furniture!

This piece was built by my Grandattie. It's been at my Aunt and Uncle's house for the last several years, and I have always loved it. Since they will be moving soon, it has found it's way to my house. I couldn't be more tickled. This piece is ginormous but so amazing. I'm so excited to have this piece in my living room.

I also got his Army hat from WWII. It says his name inside. So special.

We are hangin' out the house, trying to beat the heat. There are stormtroopers, legos, and chewbones EVERYWHERE!

The boys helped me make some "Icy Pops." Yummy.

This is a busy work week for me. I am updating my Etsy shop again, tonight...

And I have The French Nest Market in Fort Collins, this weekend. I am so excited to do the market for the first time! Please come see me, if you're in the neighborhood!
