Fashion Show Recap

Last night was the Picture DiverCity Fashion Show at Union Station.
This is Tina - owner of Fast Geek Boutique...
...and designer of some stylish little goodies...
We just met last Sunday, but we hit it off right away.
Here's one of our models rockin' her Fern and Sprout...
So great to work with you, Tina!
We are planning another collaboration very soon.  Stay tuned for that.
Fern and Sprout also teamed up with another local designer, Kimono Dragons...
It was a fun evening, but we ended up leaving early because I wasn't feeling well.  :(
Today, it was WORK, WORK, WORK!  I have a large order due on Monday.

Hope you are all having a great weekend!

Pluggin' along...

I've been busy all week.  I am making some pieces for the Picture DiverCity Fashion Show which is TOMORROW NIGHT!

Tickets are $20, $10 for students.  I would love to see you there!
I am so excited about the cuffs I am making for the show.  There will be some fancy pieces on the runway.  I will take plenty of photos, in case you aren't able to make it.
I think I've found my new go-to red wine.  So yummy.  I am having a glass while I work, tonight.
What are your weekend plans?

SURPRISE!!!

Happy birthday, Mr. Christmas!!!!
Today, he is 40!!!!!

On Friday, I threw him a surprise party.  Heehee.  He had no clue what was happening.
We started the evening at Union Station...
I wanted to take him to the model train museum in the basement, but it was closed because they found asbestos in the room.

So, we hung out in the depot for a while.
We still enjoyed ourselves.  Union Station is such a beautiful building - inside and outside.

After that, we headed to Patsy's Italian Restaurant where all of our friends were eagerly awaiting the guest of honor...

I had to get him a Rainbow Barbie Princess cake.

There were gag gifts a plenty...

The food was yummy!  The drinks were flowin'!  We had a blast!

It was a fantastic party.

I probably don't have to tell you that Scott THOROUGHLY enjoyed himself...

It's been a birthday celebration, all weekend long.
Yesterday, we went to "Drag Queen" brunch at the XBar on Colfax...
No - those aren't drag queens.  Heehee...

Say "hello" to "Elvis" and "Tess"...

What a fun brunch we had!!

Today...

...it's naptime.  Then, dinner with the family.
Happy birthday, my love!!!
