Happy Monday to you...

What an ACTION-PACKED weekend it was!

It started with an impromptu trip to our special place: 

Manitou Springs. 

We went down there to support our friends who have been dealing with the Waldo Canyon Fire. They have all been facing the fire danger, evacuations, and lack of tourists - which is how most Manitou businesses make their living. 

We had a nice, peaceful morning eating crepes, shopping, and visiting some old friends.

 There's so much history in Manitou, and so much to see and do...

We were able to see the Waldo Canyon Fire burning

on the way back to Denver...

If you zoom in on this photo, you can actually see the FLAMES.  Very freaky.

We love you, Manitou Springs!  

And to all the residents of Colorado Springs who have lost your homes, or been evacuated...we are praying for you.

On Saturday night, we enjoyed "his" and "hers" frappucinos to get us through a long night of CRAFTING!!!

I spent the evening finishing the cute little decorations I have been working on...

And Mister Christmas and I worked on a new collaboration for  CLEVER...

I think they are pretty cute! And very "summerie."

SUNDAY, I helped host a baby shower (yes, another baby shower) for my dear friend, Jenna...

 I'll post about that, tomorrow.

Christmas in February

Yesterday, I spent a lovely morning with my dear friend, Jenna.

We've both been so busy, we haven't had time to exchange our Christmas gifts.

She made me the most beautiful gift which I will share with you very soon.

We have a tradition - Every year, we go to the Market in Larimer Square for breakfast.  Then we take in the shops.

It was a beeeeaaaautiful day outside!

What a fun morning, Slug! It was so lovely to hang out with you and your cute little baby bump...

Over the weekend, we attended a 

2012 Oscar Pajama Party 

with some of our closest friends...

Our classy hosts, Mark and George hosted quite the soiree...

But, I think Mark won the award for best dressed in his pj pants, vest, and bow tie.  So handsome!

We shared some bubbly and lots of yummy treats.

So... I must address my lack of blogposts lately.

As you know, life has been a little rough over the last year.  I have been in a bit of a "FUNK" and I always said I would not use this blog as a platform to complain or feel sorry for myself.

The GOOD NEWS is - I'm out of this little funk and I'm ready to go.  There are lots of EXCITING things on the horizon.

Happy Valentine's Day!

If that wasn't enough of a party...

 ...Mister Christmas and I had attended the Sweet Hearts Ball. 

We got FANCY for a good cause - to raise money for cardiac arrest awareness.  Their goal is to have 

Automated External Defibrillators 

in every school and business in the state.

I met so many amazing survivors of cardiac arrest, and heard so many sad, but inspiring stories.

And we raised money for a SPECIAL cause. 

I was truly moved and motivated.

Sunday was a nice, lazy day with these two...
