Fascination Friday on Monday

Aaaaaah, this journey thru life.

We just never know where it's going to take us, do we?

This is the inspiration for Fascination Friday...

(yes, I know it's Monday. Forgive me:)

Sometimes we have to let go of where we have been

to move toward where we are going.

We were able to spend some time at the cabin over the weekend.

It was very relaxing. I'll share about that, tomorrow.

FASCINATION FRIDAY

I try not to get too negative on the blog - but in all honesty, I've been in a FUNK.

A creative slump.

I'm distracted and life is gettin' to me.

This morning I started thinking about how I can find some inspiration in the middle of this fog.

I started thinking about the things that make my creative heart beat a little faster.

Bad or good, these are the inspirations I can use to get myself back into the game, this week...

1. Anything sparkly (click on image for something cool:)

2. Black and white

3. Music by Kimbra

4. Colorful stripes (like these from Prada.)

5. Cameras and photographs - old and new

6. BOOKS, BOOKS, and more BOOKS!

7. Test-driving used cars. (That's right-I'm in the market for one.)

8. Friendship

9. Sadness

10. Coffee

11. Maps (Evan is learning state capitals and I'm having so much fun practicing with him.)

12. Dreaming...while I'm awake and asleep.

Fascination Friday

In honor of FASCINATION FRIDAY,

I decided to do a post on a HUUUUUUUUUUGE passion of mine...

PHOTOGRAPHY.

As I browse all of the blogs and websites I follow, I always see these photos of PROUD, (and extremely cute and stylish) camera owners with their cameras.

I decided to share some of those with you along with a shot of myself (above.)

ENJOY!

My friends and family make fun of me because I take so many photos. But I think they are secretly grateful that I always have my camera there to capture the moment.

What can I say? It's my passion.

I'm not going to apologize for that. You shouldn't apologize for your passions either. :)

Good riddance.

So long, 2011.

Although I did make some beautiful memories with my family and friends, I won't miss the most HEARTBREAKING year of my life, AT ALL.

I am ready for the NEW YEAR!

I know the year to come will hold it's own share of issues. I realize life just isn't perfect.

But I sure am ready to move forward...in lots of ways.

In honour of the new year, I'm giving you some sparkly inspiration for this

I have always had a "thing" for label makers, so imagine my delight when I found out about
