Welcome to CLEVER

Mister Christmas and I have opened CLEVER, our cute little shop located just a couple blocks from my house. It's small and very cozy - the perfect size to start out with.

Our goal is to bring a piece of ETSY to Littleton.
CLEVER carries mostly handmade goods, with a few vintage pieces sprinkled in here and there.

Here's a peek at our ever-changing little project...

(My work area)

We are open Wednesdays thru Saturdays 11-5,
(now that baseball is over:)

Thank you for letting me share the newest addition to this already overflowing world of mine.  We are so excited to hit the ground running. I want to give you a glimpse of each artist we carry at CLEVER. I can't wait to share more with you.

☆☆☆Happy WEDNESDAY, my friends!☆☆☆

"Here Comes Trouble."

After an ACTION-PACKED weekend of fun and frolic,
(which I will talk more about tomorrow,)
it's time to make the final preps for Natalie's baby shower this weekend.
That's right!  There's a baby boy coming soon!
In honor of my dear friend, Natalie's new wee wittle,
I am throwing a baby shower this Sunday.
This week may be a little hectic for me, but
I'm so excited for Sunday! I can't wait to share it with you!
What kind of projects are you working on this week?

Ittie Bitties

.
Bigsby and I spent the day in the studio.  I made a bed for him out of this little Coca Cola box.  He loved it.

I've had a rough couple of days so it took me a while to get the "creative juices" flowing.
Once I started, I couldn't stop...
and boy, did I have fun!
I am calling them "ittie bitties."
They are little pieces of Fern and Sprout flare that will brighten up any back-to-school outfit, or fall blazer.
And of course, you can wear them in your hair
and on your shoes, too.
They kinda remind me of vintage enamel pins (only made of felt.)
Each piece is only about 1/2 - 2 inches wide.
I want to eat them like CANDY!
Please - send me some feedback!  I would love to know what you think!

Big things to share!

A while back, I told you about a special project I had worked on.
I have been waiting all this time to share it with you - and now is the time since
TOMORROW...

...my friend, Natalie Walker will be releasing her new album, SPARK.

Back in February, I came up with a possible concept for her album cover, and after some small preparation, we had a photo shoot where the vision for the "SPARK" cover came to life.
We created a FRINGE wall out of aluminum foil...

It looked fantastic!
Wolfman thought so, too. :)

We used a strobe, a flash, and other light sources.  We even made some confetti out of foil. (Scott's idea :)  Nat's husband, Kevin was the photographer.  He did an AMAZING job.  Natalie looked stunning.  We got tons of great shots.  Here are just a few.

This was the shot for the cover...
...no question.

I was so proud to be part of this amazing project.  Not to mention, Natalie's new album is incredible.
You can buy it on itunes, TOMORROW!

Thank you for letting me share.
