My last day of 2011...

Mister Christmas and I spent our last day of 2011 helping our favorite local craft store,
move into their new space.  It was such a fun day, and when it was all over we were treated to pizza and beer!

Their new space is SAAAAAAAWEEEEEET!  If you haven't had the chance to visit, (or if you live in another state or country :) here are some shots of their beautiful new store...

The space is so much bigger, yet feels so much cozier.
Very well-planned, and super COOL.

Mister Christmas helped put up a bookshelf or two...

Thanks for inviting us to help with such a special day!
So excited for you and your new space, Amber and Jaime!!

For New Year's Eve,
we decided to keep it "chill," so we took in a double feature...
"The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"
and
"Sherlock Holmes 2"
So much fun!!!!
We even had a little time to share a New Year's drink in between shows...
A very nice, mellow way to ring in the New Year.
Am I getting old?  :)
We were surrounded by senior citizens at the theater.
(Not that there's anything wrong with that. :)
Stay tuned for a look back at the GOOD parts of last year, including some 2011 designs from Fern and Sprout.

Cheers!

Holiday Handmade - made my spirits bright!!!

It was a looooooooooooong and frantic week for me.
Not only was I preparing for the biggest show of the year, but I came down with a HORRIBLE cold - Mister Christmas was sick with the same thing.
(Don't know how that happened. ;)

After several sleepless nights and hundreds of hot glue sticks...
I was ready for HOLIDAY HANDMADE.
The "BIG" show took place on Friday and Saturday.
It ROCKED, as usual.

Event organizers - Amber, Krista, and Jaime, (pictured above,) did a REMARKABLE job, this year!! (They always do!)

Our booths were buzzing NONSTOP with happy customers finding the perfect handmade gifts from over 60 vendors.  What a  STUPENDOUS weekend we had!  I'm so proud to say I was part of it!
This was my third year as a participating vendor - and I must say - it keeps getting better and better.

Here are a few shots of my booth...

...and as usual, Mister Christmas was right next door...

I don't know what we would have done without our fantastic helpers!

Thank you sooooooooooooo much, Mark, Jenna, and Kevin!!!!

AAAAAAAAAND...

We had a surprise visit from
This handmade show quickly became a dance party!

Sooooo much FREAKIN' BOOTIE SHAKIN' FUN!!!

What a weekend!
Thank you, Fancy Tiger!!!

Next up - the FIREFLY...
This will be your last chance to pick up some Fern and Sprout for the holidays, so BE THERE, people!

Time for snoozing.
After this week, I will be back to my regular blogging schedule
with LOTS of holiday inspiration for all of you!

Stay tuned for a peek at some goodies I will have at the Firefly!

Back to School!

It's back-to-school time!
I've been working on some new designs for fall,
including some new earrings and clippies.
But, you can't go wrong with the classics shown above.
I spent quite a bit of time at Fancy Tiger Crafts, last week and over the weekend...
I splurged on these BEEEEEAUUUUTIFUL wool felt sheets.  You'll be seeing these colors take shape in the form of Fern and Sprout goodies at the Gypsy Farm Market, in September.  Can't wait!

Even though I'm ready for this heat to end, I will hang on to summer for as long as I can.  Look at these amazing flowers right down the street from my studio...
Happy Monday to you, my friends!
