Fascination Friday - MUSIC...

...Or "lyricus," as the Greeks called it. The Iroquois called it "shan-de-la", which means "the cobra's gyrations."
-Ron Burgundy (Anchorman)

I don't think it's a secret that I've been going thru a rough patch lately.
Music, or "Shan-de-la" has really been getting me thru it.
Here's a peek at some artists I've been loving lately.

(Yes-I know she pulled a very inappropriate stunt at the Superbowl, but it wasn't a deal-breaker for me.)

Holiday Handmade - made my spirits bright!!!

It was a looooooooooooong and frantic week for me.
Not only was I preparing for the biggest show of the year, but I came down with a HORRIBLE cold - Mister Christmas was sick with the same thing.
(Don't know how that happened. ;)

After several sleepless nights and hundreds of hot glue sticks...
I was ready for HOLIDAY HANDMADE.
The "BIG" show took place on Friday and Saturday.
It ROCKED, as usual.

Event organizers - Amber, Krista, and Jaime, (pictured above,) did a REMARKABLE job, this year!! (They always do!)

Our booths were buzzing NONSTOP with happy customers finding the perfect handmade gifts from over 60 vendors.  What a  STUPENDOUS weekend we had!  I'm so proud to say I was part of it!
This was my third year as a participating vendor - and I must say - it keeps getting better and better.

Here are a few shots of my booth...

...and as usual, Mister Christmas was right next door...

I don't know what we would have done without our fantastic helpers!

Thank you sooooooooooooo much, Mark, Jenna, and Kevin!!!!

AAAAAAAAAND...

We had a surprise visit from
This handmade show quickly became a dance party!

My ZOO...

Welcome to my zoo.  It's loud and crazy, and always fun.

Spending some time taking care of the zoo before we head out for the evening.
The pig is, unfortunately, not a part of my zoo.  Wish he was!  :)
Tonight, we are heading out to the SPARK CD release party.
I'll post photos very soon.
SPARK is officially available, TODAY!  Get your copy on itunes, now!
Back to work!

Big things to share!

A while back, I told you about a special project I had worked on.
I have been waiting all this time to share it with you - and now is the time since
TOMORROW...

...my friend, Natalie Walker will be releasing her new album, SPARK.

Back in February, I came up with a possible concept for her album cover, and after some small preparation, we had a photo shoot where the vision for the "SPARK" cover came to life.
We created a FRINGE wall out of aluminum foil...

It looked fantastic!
Wolfman thought so, too. :)

We used a strobe, a flash, and other light sources.  We even made some confetti out of foil. (Scott's idea :)  Nat's husband, Kevin was the photographer.  He did an AMAZING job.  Natalie looked stunning.  We got tons of great shots.  Here are just a few.

This was the shot for the cover...
...no question.

I was so proud to be part of this amazing project.  Not to mention, Natalie's new album is incredible.
You can buy it on itunes, TOMORROW!

Thank you for letting me share.
