It's blowin' in...

It's quite breezy, today. I must say, I don't know how people live in cities where there is no change of seasons. As much as I am not a fan of snow, I looooooooooove fall weather. I love the crisp chill in the air. I love all the colors...eye candy everywhere! I also love the holiday vibe in the air. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas!!!! I can't wait!

I am heading over to my friend, Kris's house. We are going to bead and have lunch. Fun! Stay tuned for some pics of her beautiful home...and some other inspiration. Have a WACKY WEDNESDAY!

Mimi's Monday Delights...SHOECLIPS!!!!

Who is this pretty face?

It's Coco (my friend, Ivy's mannequin head) wearing Fern and Sprout with oh-so much flair! Is it weird to be obsessed with a mannequin? (No - that's not weird - it's kinda creepy. :)) She is so lovely! I would love to have her for my shows. She wears it so well!

Speaking of lovely faces...this is Isabelle, from Cali and Mo, sporting a "Fancy Delight." Doesn't she look delightful?

And now...the moment you've all been waiting for...

SHOECLIPS!!!!! SHOECLIPS!!!! SHOECLIPS!!!! SHOECLIPS!!!! SHOECLIPS!!!!
I introduced them at the Sweet William Market on Saturday, and they were selling like HOTCAKES! Yippee!!

Here is a little taste...

They come in all shapes and sizes...

They are oh...so...delightful! Please let me know what you think!

Here are some general shots of my booth at Sweet William.

My friend Cari, (Kiwi/Sissy) came to see me at the market. She is one of my favorite people. She knows me better than most. I love her dearly. She brought her precious kiddos, too. They are growing up too fast!

Not to mention, she looks divine in a "Felty Delight"...

And she is quite the SNAZZY dresser!!

A happy customer models her new Fern and Sprout. This piece is SOLD!

Eliza makes jewelry from recycled and vintage items. I traded her this "Felty Delight" for one of her pieces. I can't wait to show you my new necklace when I get it next week. You can find her designs at Decade (56 South Broadway.)

This is Miki...she makes beautiful jewelry using the most unique beads! Another trade...her a necklace for one of my necklaces! It matched her outfit, perfectly.

My sweet friend, Slug came out to show F and S some support...she looks stunning in the felties.

I made a new contact at Sweet William. This is Jen of "Dizzie Izzy." She has a roving childrens boutique, and ordered several "Felty Delights" for her shop. Doesnt she look stunning in her new "Fancy Delight?"

Last but certainly not least...this is Ivy and her precious daughter, Arabella modeling some "Felty Delights." Ivy invited me to do the market with her, so we shared a booth. She makes beautiful jewelry...check out Girl with the Curl. Thank you so much for everything, Ivy!!! I had such a fantastic day with you...soggy grass and all!!

Here are some shots of a bridal piece I'm working on. I'm going to add a few more stiff feathers and some tulle. She wants it to be a BOLD statement. And it will be!!

Whatcha doin' on Saturday?

Come see Fern and Sprout at the "Sweet William Market" from 9 - 2 this Saturday at Founder's Green at Stapleton. It is the last market of the season. The weather will be FANTASTIC and there will be lots of goodies!! I am hoping to have quite the set-up. Start your holiday shopping early!! I will also have some Halloween felties and some "Old Skool" Halloween onesies for babies. (I haven't made onesies in about seven years!!)

Stop on by and say hello!!

Tonight, we hung out with my friend Natalie and her daughter. We played Rockband and ate pizza and listened to M.I.A. (one of my faveees.) Natalie and I have similar taste in music, and we are both musicians. She is currently in the middle of writing a new album. (I haven't sung professionally in years. I would love to get back into it, soon.) Check out her music here. She is quite talented. Thanks for the fun evening, dude!

Tune in tomorrow for a preview new designs from Fern and Sprout, including jewelry, shoe clips, and Felties and Fancies. Bon nuit!

Something's Missing...

...from these ballet flats...

Hmmm...what could it be? They look slightly naked. Never fear, fern and sprout is here! Stay tuned for "shoe clippies" from Fern and Sprout!

I found these glass heads at Pier 1 Imports, last weekend. They will make fantastic displays for fern and sprout "Fancies" and "Felties." Love them!

Here's a couple shots from the "Halloween Trunk Show" last Saturday. There was a great turnout, and it REALLY got me in the mood for Halloween. BOO!!!

These are pictures of "whimsical folk art" by my friend, Cindy Habermann. I have known her for almost eight years, and every time I see her work, it truly inspires me. So much work goes into each piece. I WANT THEM ALL!! I love her black, sparkly kitties. If you are interested in her work, you can email her at cindy.habermann@gmail.com. She has some AWESOME pieces for the holidays.

My mom and I took the boys to see "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 3-D," this weekend. I haven't seen a 3-D movie since "JAWS 3-D." It was so much fun!

Here are some shots of my new studio. I'm almost moved in. Still have some organizing to do.

Here are some images from my new "wall of inspiration..."

Fall is in the air!! I LOVE IT!! Tomorrow I will give you the 4-1-1 on "Sweet William Market." It's this Saturday from 9 - 2!! Have a terriffic Tuesday! ;)
