Just had to share with you.

Stay tuned.

For now, we are just beginning baseball season...
(This is my monkey, getting an RBI.)

Forget Anthropologie...

Say "Hello" to Vicki and Allison...
...the lovely owners of one of my favorite shops,
Cali & Mo.
The store is named after the two states where these delightful, and oh-so-stylish ladies came from: California and Missouri.  How cute is that?
This is their brand new store at Park Meadows Mall.
(They also have a location in the Denver Pavillions.)
Aaaaaah.  What a beautiful breath of fresh air.
Walking into this shoppe, one would never feel like they were shopping in a mall, but rather a cozy little boutique around the corner - filled with lovely dresses, bits and baubles, and beautiful antiques from all over the world.
If you must shop at the mall, THIS is the place to do it.
There are so many treasures to be found, like this old set of suitcases...
...and this BEEEEEEEEAUUUUUUUUTIFUL loveseat...

Every nook and every wall has something to inspire.
If you haven't seen the new store, you MUST stop by.
And did I mention,,,
...they also carry Fern and Sprout.  :)
So, forget Anthropologie.
You can find all the charm, style, and inspiration you need in this little shoppe, right here.
Enjoy.

Eating dots...

There are days when I feel like I am stuck in a Pacman game.  I'm racing through a maze, trying to do as much as I can, and I'm being chased!  Sometimes, I am defeated and sometimes, I get to eat the cherries.
Lately, I have felt like that - A LOT.

I am hopeful to get thru the maze, this week.  I have soooo much work to do.
I did have the pleasure of celebrating my baby's 7th birthday, this weekend.
Wow.  It goes by soooooooo fast.  I told him this is the LAST birthday he's allowed to have.  :{)

I've spent most of the week working on a very large order for Kismet (with two locations in the Highlands and at Southglenn.)
If you are in need of lovely goodies for Valentine's Day, you should stop by and see what's new!

Happy Wednesday Eve!

A helping hand...

Meet Annie!
Isn't she just adorable?
She is going to be giving me some MUCH NEEDED help with Fern and Sprout!
I found her, (or should I say she found me?) at one of my favorite shops, 5 Green Boxes - which is right down the street from my studio!
I am soooooooooooooo excited to have her fantastic energy, her lovely sense of style, her design experience, her organizational assistance, and most of all, her bad-ass crafty skills!  (She made the GORGEOUS scarf she is wearing!)

Welcome to Fern and Sprout, Annie!

Thangs are gettin' BIZZZAY around here.
It will be fantastic to have someone else to help me out.

I've been working with a new fabric for spring...

Jersey knit - I am using old T-shirts, and refashioning them into headbands and other accessories.

BEFORE:
AFTER:
You can find this particular headband at Decade on South Broadway.
Bracelets, too!
So delightful for spring!!

♡♡♡Happy Friday!♡♡♡

Denver, YOU ROCK!!!

A huge thank you to Fancy Tiger, the Sherman Street Event Center, all the volunteers, everyone who helped us in our booths, my friends and family, and most importantly...
ALL OF THE SHOPPERS!!!

You all made HOLIDAY HANDMADE a HUGE success!

About halfway through the 2nd day of the show, it hit me that I am a part of the HUGE urban craft movement that is taking over Denver right now.  I am so honored to be part of it.  We had over 1600 people come through the show in just 4 HOURS!!

Needless to say, we were so busy that I didn't take a ton of pictures.  (I know.  That rarely happens.)
Here are just a few shots of the weekend's BIG EVENT...

My Mommee helped me on the first night.  Thanks, Mommee!!  What would I have done without you?

Here's a few shots from the booth next door.  It was a "Christmas explosion."
Mr. Christmas sure is handsome.  I know him. I know him.  :)
Thanks for all of your help, AJ!!!!!!  We love you!

Here's a couple of happy customers...
...although there were WAY too many happy customers for me to count.  :)

We were so busy on Saturday, I didn't take many pictures, but we sure had fun.  The whole gang was on hand to help out.  I have to say a SPECIAL THANK YOU to our "gang," Kimmy, Anna, Mark, George, and Jef for helping out at the show, and for helping us load up.  We had a blast with you!!!!!!!

I took a much needed day off yesterday.
I used the time to "deck the halls" of my home with Christmas cheer.  Here's a preview...
More Christmas decor photos to come...

Fern and Sprout's next show is this Wednesday!!!!!!

Talulah Jones at 17th and Park Ave.
5:30 to 7:30
10% of all sales go to the Waldorf School!!!!

And then, this weekend...
Thank you, again to EVERYONE involved with Holiday Handmade!  See you at the next show!
