Exhausted. Annoyed. Sweaty. There are boxes EVERYWHERE. Welcome to the wonderful world of moving!


This heat is crazy! We are eatin' a whole lotta watermelon, and a little "Dairy Queen." :) How are you beating the heat?

So - I moved yesterday but I needed a little R & R before that, so on Friday afternoon, I headed to the patio to share drinks with my girls. Way too much giggling!

My friend, Kimmi came over to help me move. She moved a ton of boxes, but then she had to leave for work. Then she drove ALL the way back across town later, to help me decorate a little. Thank you soooooooooooooooooooo much, Kimmi!

After a long day of moving, yesterday...we needed a relaxing morning at the dog park. So much fun!

Chillin'

Yes, I'm sitting in the a/c with my monkeys. I am taking a much needed day off, so we are just chillin. We hit a garage sale, and scored some goodies for the boys. Now we relaxin' and eating some watermelon. Yum.

That's how far I feel like I drove today. Traffic is too yuk.

I am moving this weekend. Can't wait to show you some snapshots of the new pad.

The boys have been hanging with me at the new house this week, while I work my "magic."


I've been painting and cleaning like a MAD WOMAN. Can't wait to show you the colors I'm painting. Stay tuned for that!

Still queasy but feeling brighter...

Recovering from my day of "YUK." I was queasy today, but I sure managed to get a heck of a lot done, and I even had the monkeys with me! First, I headed on down to Decade on South Broadway to show them my new goodies. This is one of many new pieces you can find at Decade. I looooove this neon green tulle with the pink beads. Very 80's.

Some big news!! I am moving...again. I found a little house in Olde Town Littleton that will be perfect for the monkeys and me. It is quite the "fixer-upper." I think I can work some magic on it, and make it quite delightful. I spent part of today painting and cleaning. Then I moved in some of my big furniture, but it can't be too big because the doorways are extremely NARROW. I had to leave a beautiful, round table behind because it wouldn't fit through the door. No worries. It's going to a good home.

Since I will be decorating soon, I looked up some inspiration on one of my favorite blogs, "design is mine." So delightful.
