To my ears...
I am getting ready for the Denver Gift Show.
I have A LOT of work to do.
I need some good music to get me through.
Here are just a few of the musicians who are inspiring me lately.

Field Trip!
We went on a field trip, today!
Yes, we got to visit our state's capitol.
I rode on the bus with all of the 3rd graders.
I always forget how fun it is to ride a school bus!
The kids were all very curious.
I was, too. I love to explore.
The architecture is beautiful.
The dome was amazing! 93 stairs to the top!
Beautiful wood trim...
...and a great view!
And that was just the employee restroom. :)
It was a BEEEEaUUUUtiful day, and so nice to spend time with my monkey.
Have a lovely evening.

Action Packed
What an amazing weekend. AAAAAMMMMAAAAAAZING!
It all started on Friday with a VERY SPECIAL all day "art project," (pictured above,)
but you'll have to stay tuned to find out more about that. :)
We started off our Saturday morning by trying out a new breakfast place...
JELLY.
Located at 13th and Pearl, it is appropriately named, because they serve their very own homemade jelly, and it is YUMMY.
We waited for about 45 minutes, and finally got a table.
Thank goodness we had some yummy coffee to keep us company until our table was ready.
The walls are adorned with the cutest cereal boxes. This was my favorite. They even had the Wheaties box with Mary Lou Retton on the front. Cool.
We enjoyed homemade hash and a yogurt parfait. Deelish.
Thank you for a lovely breakfast experience, Jelly!
We decided to take a stroll down to Buffalo Exchange. What a beautiful day it was.
Then we headed the other way to pay a little visit to one of the most ADORABLE shops in Denver...
Jill Cappuccio.
Jill is a local clothing designer. You've probably seen her designs at Sweet William, Holiday Handmade and Firefly Handmade markets. Now - you should drop by her shop. She's so talented and inspirational.
What a BEEEEEAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUTIFUL afternoon we had.
After some downtime, we headed to Herman's Hideaway to see Darci's band "The Bonnie Situation."
We ended the evening with a trip to "Winchell's," with our friends Kimmy and Jef.
You can't beat donuts at 1 a.m. Forget cupcakes. These are the real deal.
If my weekend wasn't already action-packed enough...
...my mom took the monkeys and me to MONSTER JAM!
Very loud and very fun. I've never been before.
Needless to say, the monkeys had a GREAT time and I came home with a headache. :)
It was worth it.
Now, I'm watching the Grammy's.
Aaaaaah.
Going to bed early.
A busy week ahead.
Enjoy what's left of your Sunday eve.
